Listen to Your Body

It is important that you can pay attention to yourself and respond to your body’s ever-changing needs. Whether it is taking time to prepare a healthy, nutritious meal when you are hungry, having a rest when you are tired, replacing fluids when you feel thirsty, or having a massage when you feel stressed. There are many ways in which you can respond to the needs of your body, but the first step involves you being able to listen to and understand what your body is saying to you when it sends you early warning signs (messages) that it is out of balance.  These messages can have a big impact on your overall health, well-being and quality of life.
