This phrase (which was given to me by an ex-student, Alison) reminds us when we are trying to overcome difficulties in our lives, it is important that we never stop trying. It gives us hope to keep moving forward, no matter how hard things become.

Recently I won my first medal at the Australian Master Games in Perth. As a way of acknowledging my daughter’s support and encouragement in reaching this milestone, I had this phrase engraved onto the medal when I gave it to her. I was amazed at the positive impact this small act of gratitude has had on both of our lives.
